MicroFlex®, a flexible workspace solutions provider, is opening its newest location in Hoover.

Located at 3890 Douglas Way, the new Hoover area facility offers 30 flexible workspaces totaling 37,500 square feet ranging in size from 1,250 – 1,550 square feet.

The facility is scheduled to open in February 2026,

According to Microflex®,  workspaces can be used multiple ways, including:

  • Office for creatives
  • Contractor space
  • Light assembly and warehouse space
  • Fulfillment hubs for an ecommerce business
  • Showrooms
  • Sports training
  • Store a car collection, recreational vehicles, or as other hobby space

“We developed the concept when we realized — almost by accident — that there was a huge unmet demand for smaller, multifunctional office-warehouse spaces with shorter, more flexible lease terms. There are so many businesses that don’t need traditional larger spaces, which typically start around 3,000 square feet and come with long lease commitments.”

Andy Sink, MicroFlex® co-founder

The new Hoover Microflex® location is the fourth in Alabama. The Auburn/Opelika and Irondale locations opened in 2024. The new third and fourth sites are opening in Huntsville and Hoover this February. Visit Microflex® for additional details.
