Say goodbye to boring mocktails

For those who love a good cocktail but may be taking a break from the booze, the world of non-alcoholic beverages has really upped its game. Mocktails no longer have to be plain and boring, and Birmingham’s bars are here to prove it.

There are so many reasons you may be on the hunt for a delicious non-alcoholic drink. Here’s where we love to get a tasty mocktail in town:

1. Tucana Tiki Bar

Tucana Tiki Bar has introduced a brand-new January menu featuring a delicious lineup of refreshing mocktails that are definitely worth checking out. Each drink is bright, flavorful and perfectly crafted—I know the Wanna Pear Up? would be incredibly refreshing.

2. House of Found Objects

Discover vibrant, zero-proof creations at House of Found Objects. Each mocktail is thoughtfully crafted with fresh fruit, botanicals and bold flavors, delivering all the complexity and excitement of a cocktail—without the alcohol. The atmosphere is also perfect for a chill night out.

(Tasty Town)

This is my favorite spot to grab lunch. It may sound fun, but a midday cocktail usually isn’t in the cards so instead, their refreshing elderflower and grapefruit mocktail hits the spot every time. They even have a non-alcoholic gin and tonic!

4. Mayawell

The name says it all. I’ll take any excuse to enjoy a drink outside at Mayawell, but a pretty mocktail with a name like Chef’s Kiss? Count me in.

5. Pink Lantern

Enjoy vibrant mocktails at Birmingham’s hottest new bar, featuring creations like Disco Paradise—a refreshing blend of club soda, lime, mint, dragon fruit and elderflower or Fool Me Twice, where spicy ginger beer meets juicy cantaloupe, pineapple and bright lemon.

6. Paper Doll

Paper Doll is known for creating the perfect drink when you tell them whatever you’re in the mood for, so there’s no better spot to go for a delicious non-alcoholic drink. Just tell them what kind of drink you’d like and they’ll whip up something amazing, always.

7. Soho Social

Soho Social can make any of its signature seasonal cocktails into a delicious mocktail, so no one has to miss out on their fun drinks. Make sure to stop by during happy hour, week days 4-6PM to get half off your appetizer with your drink.

8. Neon Moon

Enjoy a drink with you hit the karaoke stage at Neon Moon. They have so many non-alcoholic drink creations available, you won’t feel like you’re missing out on anything. The frozen Kentucky coffee is one of my favorite drinks ever.
