An internationally-renowned design company now has a presence in Birmingham! Schumacher, the 137-year-old design house founded in New York City, recently opened its brand-new showroom in Pepper Place. Bham Now met with the team behind the new showroom to learn more and get an inside look.

Inside Schumacher’s new Pepper Place showroom

Schumacher’s new Pepper Place showroom is located at 2807 2nd Ave S Suite B, a space previously inhabited by the Little Professor bookstore until mid-2025. The company officially opened the new Birmingham location in December.

Inside, you’ll find walls of fabric, rugs, wallpaper and other products exclusively for designers, as well as boutique offerings like books, pillows and accessories available for retail consumers.
