A new smoothie and drink spot has officially opened in the Lee Branch area, giving locals another refreshing option along one of Shelby County’s busiest shopping centers.

SoCal Smoothie Company announced the opening of its newest North Shelby location in a Facebook post on Saturday, Dec. 27.

The new Lee Branch store marks SoCal Smoothie Company’s second location in Shelby County. The business also operates a location in Chelsea just off 280.

The North Shelby location is co-owned by Allen and Brenda Corrigan, a husband-and-wife duo who partnered to bring the tropical-inspired smoothie concept to the area.

SoCal Smoothie Company offers a wide variety of drinks and treats, including:

Boba teas
Energy drinks
Refreshers

Pastries
Acai bowls

A Southern California-inspired vibe

The shop aims to create a bright, beachy atmosphere that reflects the feel of its beverages, to make customers feel like they’re at the beach when they step inside.

SoCal Smoothie Company also emphasizes cleanliness and quality, filtering all of its water and using double-filtered ice in its drinks.
