The tower also houses offices for the People’s Bank of Alabama and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
According to the Birmingham Business Journal, The Plaza was recently purchased by a company registered to R.D. Sharma of Icon Properties on Tuesday, December 23rd. The Atlanta-based real estate investor purchased the property for $10.55 million.
