Birmingham is extra sweet this week—two of our own talented bakers have officially baked their way into the finale of Hallmark’s newest holiday cooking competition, “Baked with Love: Holiday.”

The beloved mother–daughter duo has captured hearts across the country, and now they’re just one episode away from the $50K grand prize!

Sally Wicker McKay, a Birmingham-area food stylist, and her mom, Amy Wicker, first appeared on Hallmark screens during the show’s premiere on Monday, October 27. Their warmth, creativity and picture-perfect holiday bakes quickly made them standouts.

Now, after weeks of friendly competition and festive challenges, they’re one of three remaining teams headed into the finale.

  • $50,000 cash prize
  • A chance to have their recipe featured in a Hallmark Countdown to Christmas movie

The duo mentions that their favorite bake was Becky’s Winter Wonderland cake. Out of all their creations, the one they cherished most was the snow globe cake from Episode Seven, which they named Becky’s Winter Wonderland in honor of Sally’s late aunt, Becky, Amy’s sister.
