New pizzeria + creamery opening in Leeds on Dec. 6

Something sweet is coming to Leeds this weekend.

The owners of Sweet Caroline’s, a Gardendale restaurant serving ice cream, coffee, breakfast and lunch, announced back in October that they’d open a second location in Leeds, focusing on pizza and ice cream. Now, the time has finally come for Sweet Caroline’s Pizzeria and Creamery to open its doors.

The new location is a bit different than the current vibe in Gardendale, co-owner Colby King said. Earlier this year, the original Sweet Caroline’s moved to a new location in Gardendale, allowing them to expand their ice cream flavor offerings.

“We’ve got our store in Gardendale that is different, more colorful and mostly an ice cream shop.”

Among the Leeds locations offerings will be:

• New York style pizza
• Wings
• Salads
• Sandwiches

And of course, it wouldn’t be Sweet Caroline’s without their ice cream, from scoops and sundaes to milkshakes and floats.

Grand opening this Saturday

On Saturday, Dec. 6, the new location will be holding its official grand opening. Doors open at 11AM, so bring your family and friends — or just swing by for a solo treat — and see what all the hype is about.
