Google reveals what people in Birmingham searched in 2025

They say one of the best ways to truly know someone is to see their browser history… Thanks to Google’s annual “Year In Search,” we can take an inside look into what people in Birmingham actually care about. 

Google regularly keeps track of search trends around the world, but at the end of the year, they bring it all together with some data for specific areas. The findings show how the interests of people in Birmingham may differ from those of America’s or the world’s.

Many of the trends related to events are linked to the BJCC’s venues as certain acts came through town — for example, Wicked’s Broadway run in Birmingham was the fourth top trending search in the area.
