New Mediterranean restaurant now open in Pelham

A new restaurant specializing in Mediterranean cuisine is now open in Pelham! Located down the street from the growing Pelham Civic Center, Shaami Mediterranean Grill features authentic staples like shawarma, kebabs, falafel, baba ghanoush, hummus and more.
Shaami Mediterranean Grill now open in Pelham
Residents in Shelby County now have a new option for Mediterranean cuisine! Located in the former Sarris Café space along Pelham Parkway/Highway 31, Shaami Mediterranean Grill officially opened its doors in November.
According to the website, the owners of Shaami Mediterranean Grill aim to “share the flavors and traditions that have been passed down through [their] families for generations” by preparing every dish with “fresh ingredients, authentic spices and true Mediterranean hospitality.”
Shaami Mediterranean Grill’s menu includes,
- Appetizers like falafel, hummus and baba ghanoush
- Greek, Tahini and Tabouleh Salads
- Chicken Shawarma Sandwiches, Lamb Kabob Sandwiches, Falafel Sandwiches
- Shawarma, Shaami and Kebab Platters
Open from 10AM to 10PM every day, Shaami Mediterranean Grill is just a short drive away from Oak Mountain State Park and Pelham Civic Complex.
