Regions Bank is going all out tonight in downtown Birmingham when it lights up its traditional holiday display illuminating 2,700 windows between the fifth and 28th floors on their 30-story skyscraper.
The fun begins on Friday, November 28, 4:30PM at the base of the Regions Bank headquarters tower along 5th Ave. N. in downtown Birmingham. The actual lighting is scheduled to take place at approximately 5:15PM.
In addition to the lighting ceremony the public is invited to watch performances by:
- Birmingham Youth and Young Adult Fellowship Choir of “America’s Got Talent” fame.
- Marissa Luna, rising country/pop singer-songwriter from Birmingham
- Mason Music students
Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for the kids after the lighting, along with locally-owned food trucks and some warm coffee.
Regions Bank tradition since the 1970s

A tradition that began in the 1970s, the Regions Center will once again display two giant Christmas trees, a massive wreath and a festive stocking.
The display begins at sundown on the night after Thanksgiving every year – and it continues until New Year’s Day.
