The expansion was made possible thanks to a $745,322 grant through the Health Resources and Services Administration’s American Rescue Plan program for Health Center Construction and Capital Improvements, reports WBRC.
Here’s what that means:
- Increased space by 800 square feet
- 4 new exam rooms
- Capacity for 600 more patients monthly (or 30 additional patients per day!)
In fact, the expansion has allowed for a 26% increase in patient capacity! That means shorter waits, more access and faster care.
