Craftโ€™s, the popular locally-owned chicken joint, has opened its third location. 

If youโ€™re a frequent Highway 280 traveler, Craftโ€™s new restaurant is easy to spot: the old Wendyโ€™s at 2727 US-280, Birmingham, AL 35223 by the Hampton Inn, Finch Wines and Tazikiโ€™s.

Much like its other two locations in Mountain Brook and UAB, Craftโ€™s offers a wide variety of menu options that include:

  • Bone-in Chicken & Family Meal Deals
  • Chicken sandwiches and wraps (Honey Hot, MacStack, Smashburger, BLT Combo and much more!)
  • Salads and bowls
  • Chicken tender plates, with a wide variety of side options (Fried Okra, squash casserole, Brussel salad, rice & gravy and mac and cheese)
  • Dips โ€” chicken queso, simple chick dip and Buffalo chicken dip)
  • Milkshakes + margaritas

Owned by Craft Oโ€™Neal Sr. and Craft Oโ€™Neal Jr., the pair recommended in a 2023 Bham Now feature story the following delicacies on the menu:

  • The Hot Dot โ€”Hot fried chicken breast sandwich with pickles and ranch
  • Baja Bowl โ€”Roasted chicken over rice, black beans and corn, cheddar, with salsa and sour cream on the side
  • Mac Stack โ€” Fried chicken breast sandwich topped with mac and cheese
