Guests of the Birmingham Embassy Suites will notice some modern upgrades during their next visit thanks to a multi-million renovation project that just wrapped up.

The 242-room hotel — which also houses Ruth’s Chris Steak House — made several upgrades to communal spaces, such as:

  • Modernizing the atrium and lobby
  • Upgrading meeting and event spaces
  • Enhancing the indoor pool
  • Updating the fitness center

The guest suites were also refreshed, each getting fully-updated, modern furnishings, lighting fixtures, carpeting and decor.

Artwork of the Alabama Theatre is in each suite’s living space, and the updated color palette of deep blues, gray and burnt orange reflects “Birmingham’s lively energy and the warmth of Southern hospitality,
hotel representatives said.
