One of our favorite events during the holiday season is the Teddy Bear Toss. Nothing is more thrilling than seeing stuffed animals fly through the air onto a basketball court or hockey rink for a good cause.

Want to join in on the fun? Here are three Teddy Bear Toss events coming to the Magic City this holiday season.

UAB Teddy Bear Toss at Bartow Arena – Nov. 21

UAB Athletics and UAB IT are teaming up again to hold their 4th Annual Teddy Toss. This year’s much-anticipated Friday, Nov. 21 game against the University of South Alabama at Bartow Arena will be your opportunity to fling a UAB spirit bear, a stuffed Blaze or a toy you choose onto the floor at halftime.

If you bring a bear at the gate, your ticket is discounted to $8.

Remember, tip-off begins at 6:30PM.

Birmingham Bulls Teddy Bear Toss – Dec. 5

The largest Teddy Bear Toss in the Magic City – this year’s annual event is also Ugly Sweater Night. Last year, the toss garnered 1,300+ “teddies” for our local Salvation Army.

On the hockey side of things, our Birmingham Bulls take on cross-state rival Huntsville Havoc on December 5th, 7:00PM at the Pelham Civic Complex.

Birmingham Squadron Teddy Bear Toss  – Dec. 14
