Taking place Saturday, December 6, the event will transform Red Mountain into a glowing celebration of community, family and holiday cheer.

What’s new this year?

Holidays on the Mountain marks a brand-new take on the park’s seasonal celebration. Think more lights, more entertainment and more holiday fun than ever before.

As the sun sets, Vulcan Park will come alive with a stunning holiday light display that brings Birmingham’s skyline into focus like never before. Guests can snap photos with Santa, sip on complimentary hot cocoa and enjoy sweet treats as they stroll through the park.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, a live DJ will be spinning merry tunes all evening long—so don’t be surprised if you find yourself dancing under Vulcan. Shoppers will also love exploring local vendor booths, featuring unique gifts, crafts and treats perfect for last-minute holiday shopping.

Plus—keep an eye out for Vulcan’s own mascot, “V,” who’ll be making special appearances throughout the night to spread even more cheer!
