- What: This holiday event puts the “extra” in “extravagant!” For five days, the BJCC’s North, South + East exhibition Halls will be jam-packed with yuletide fun. Shop 700+ booths featuring handcrafted artisans + food, plus a photo opp with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

4. Tree Planting @ Norwood Park

- What: Get outside and give back during this tree planting event at Norwood Park in Birmingham. Cool Green Trees will provide all the supplies—just wear comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle.

6. Abba Tribute Band @ Lyric Theatre
- What: Get ready to dance and have the time of your life as an incredible ABBA Tribute Band takes the stage at The Lyric Theatre! 7. UAB Veterans Day 5K @ 1600 1st Ave S
- What: Head to Railroad Park for the 3rd Annual UAB Veterans Day 5K. Since its launch in 2023, it has raised more than $20,000 and brought together 1,500 participants and 200 volunteers. Raised funds support UAB veteran and dependent students. All 5K participants receive a race shirt and finisher metal. Runners, walkers, ruckers, strollers or wheelchair racers are all welcome. Those who wish to volunteer can find more info on the registration website.

8. Electric Return: New Music + Improvisations for Ecello @ East Village Arts of Birmingham
- What: Experience an unforgettable night of sound and creativity as Craig Hultgren returns to Birmingham for a solo e-cello concert blending improvisation and contemporary works. You’ll hear pieces by living composers like Davey Williams and Mark Lackey, and see music improvisers join in for an improv jam session to close out the evening.

9. Homewood Library Foundation Welcomes Bestselling Author Alan Gratz @ Homewood Public Library
