The Summit just got a new shop known for its European-inspired home decor, accessories, apparel, holiday decorations and gifts.

The Royal Standard opened Wednesday, Oct. 22 in between Orvis and North Italia, and it is already positively decked out in Christmas spirit.

The store operates eight locations in Louisiana, Texas and Alabama, and its products are sold in more than 4,200 retail establishments in the U.S.

The idea for The Royal Standard first came to light when founders Mark and Krista Pierce were on a trip in England and learned about a flag of the British royal family, also known as their “royal standard.”

“Since the founding of our company, we have tirelessly traveled throughout Europe and the world in search of inspiration to design unique accessories for you and your home. Our product mix ranges from fashion accessories to home decor and from holiday decorations to entertaining essentials for hosting the perfect gathering.”
