On November 22, KultureCity is partnering with Pihakis Restaurant Group (PRG) to bring the 2nd Annual KultureCity Birmingham Race to the Magic City, and it’s more than just a run.
This sensory-inclusive 5K and half-marathon is a chance to get active for a good cause—with all proceeds supporting KultureCity’s mission to create more inclusive spaces for individuals with sensory needs.

Starting at Railroad Park, the fast, flat course begins at the Steam Plant and ends with a lively post-race celebration featuring local crowds, live music and delicious food from local Birmingham restaurants.

An inclusive + community-centered event

This isn’t your average race—it’s designed to be inclusive and accessible from start to finish.

- The KultureCity Sensory Activation Vehicle (SAV): A mobile sensory room providing a calm + quiet space
- Sensory bags filled with helpful tools for individuals who may feel overwhelmed
- Onsite trained volunteers available to assist racers and spectators with sensory needs
This thoughtful setup allows families and individuals of all abilities to participate and enjoy the event in a way that works best for them.
