Art, Design & Discovery—100+ Exhibiting Artists

At the heart of Moss Rock Festival is what makes it so special—its diverse mix of Art + Design, Nature, and Smart Living exhibitors.
This year’s Featured Artist is Pelham’s Inés Orihuela. You might know her from Studio by the Tracks, where she works alongside other talented artists on the autism spectrum. Her colorful, graphic, heartfelt work is featured on this year’s festival poster—continuing the tradition of celebrating creative local talent.
The Art + Design Showcase spotlights more than 100 artists and makers from across the region and beyond setting up shop with pottery, paintings, jewelry, glasswork, metal art and creative pieces made from natural, recycled, repurposed, or upcycled materials. If you’re drawn to design that’s both beautiful and functional, the +Design section of Artist Row is a must-see. Think hand-crafted furniture design, modern home goods, and thoughtful accessories by local artisans. Whether you’re an avid collector or a casual browser, there’s something worth taking home. Every booth tells a story, and you can see how deeply these artists are inspired by the world around them.

The Smart Living Market features eco-minded vendors offering specialty foods and recipes, local treats and other sustainable home goods. Find a cool, organic candle, local sheep milk cheeses, a hot pepper sauce, natural soaps, wild-crafted small batch, sustainable herbal medicines and tinctures, or handcrafted jams made from locally sourced fruits & vegetables by local farmers.
4 special nature-inspired exhibitions at Moss Rock Festival

Along with the artist booths, you’ll find several special exhibitions that bring a deeper layer of discovery to the weekend.
The “Take root, alight; Take flight, afloat” art exhibition at Booth 112 will address how a growing human population affects and interacts with the natural environment. Festivalgoers are invited to enter to win a white oak sapling donated by Cool Green Trees and tendered by Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve, plus grab a pollinator seed packet. It’s a fun way to help grow Moss Rock’s mission of sustainability and Take Root Project’s tree planting initiative beyond the festival grounds.
And if you love a little nostalgia, check out the Festival Poster Art Exhibit, featuring original works from past featured artists. It’s a colorful walk through the festival’s creative history.
