For 17 years, Habitat for Humanity’s “Home Builders Blitz” has brought local builders, volunteers and community partners together to build safe and affordable homes.

And this Friday, October 17, Habitat for Humanity is dedicating eight new homes in Bessemer’s Hopewell Crossings neighborhood—marking 163 homes built through the annual event.

163 houses built through Habitat for Humanity’s Home Builders Blitz

Thanks to the help of volunteers and local builders, each family will purchase a home through Habitat’s program at zero percent interest because they completed volunteer hours and homeowner education classes.
