In August, Repole, the UFL’s newest owner, challenged Stallions fans to buy up to 5000 season tickets to save the team.

In less than a week fans bought half that amount before Repole declared on the McElroy and Cubelic Show:

“I’ll say it here, The Birmingham Stallions will be playing there next March. I’m going to be at the home opener.”

Only five teams remain in the eight team league as a result of the cut. Cities in the running for the remaining slots? According to numerous reports:

  • Orlando
  • Columbus
  • Louisville
  • Oklahoma City
  • Salt Lake City
  • Seattle

The league aims to increase its number of teams to 10 by 2026.
