Where to watch Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ film in the Birmingham area

The Oct. 3 release of Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” is quickly approaching, but fans recently learned of an additional release to look forward to.
The singer-songwriter-director announced an accompanying film Sept. 19 titled “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” promising:
- The world premiere of “The Fate of Ophelia” music video
- Behind-the-scenes footage from the music video shoot
- Brand new lyric videos
- Taylor’s never-before-seen personal reflections on songs from the album
Within the first day, presales rocketed to $15 million with the box office forecast sitting at $30-50 million, Deadline reported last week.
Here’s what you need to know about the one-weekend-only film showings.
- Runtime: 90 minutes
- Dates: Oct. 3-5
- Price: $12 + tax
- The film will begin at showtime and will NOT include trailers, according to AMC
- No A-List reservations, passes, exchange tickets or discount tickets may be used, according to AMC
