The City of Springville has a brand new spot for quick lunches and delicious family meals.

Meals by Misty, a locally-owned business with locations in Homewood and Trussville, serves homemade casseroles, sides, fresh salads and more with the busy family in mind. It also offers full-service catering.

On Friday, Sept. 19, the new storefront is hosting a “sneak peek” ahead of Springville High School homecoming parade, allowing spectators to grab some boxed lunches, cold drinks, snacks and desserts. The market says it is opening very soon, but there is not an official open date on their social media profiles yet.

Meals by Misty releases a monthly menu with everything there will be to choose from at their locations. September’s features all kinds of appetizing favorites, such as:

  • Chicken and dumplings
  • Smothered pork chops
  • BBQ mac + cheese
  • Chicken pot pie
  • Roasted green beans
  • Twice baked potatoes
  • Cheeseburger soup
  • Grilled chicken + salmon (sold by the pound)
  • Lasagna

They also have meals for one available every day, mostly salads, wraps and more. Don’t forget dessert: they have fresh-baked cookies and brownies, Mississippi mud cake, Oreo cream pie and more.
