Today, organizers of the Iron Hills Music Festival announced that the 2025 edition of the event has been canceled. Full refunds for all Iron Hills ticket purchasers will be processed automatically within 30 business days.
Iron Hills Music Festival canceled
First announced in late 2024, Iron Hills Music Festival was to be a brand new country music festival hosted at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham. Originally scheduled for October 11 and 12, the festival was a new undertaking from the organizers behind Iron Hills’ long-standing sister event, Furnace Fest.
Due to rising economic and logistical challenges, the organizers have made the difficult decision to cancel the festival after it became clear that the event would be unable to deliver the quality experience fans deserve. According to a press release, the combination of increased production costs and softer-than-expected demand made it financially and operationally impossible to move forward with this year.

While the cancellation of Iron Hills Music Festival is a tough moment for all involved, the organizers remain committed to focusing their efforts on making this year’s Furnace Fest the best one yet. Furnace Fest will be held October 3-5 at Sloss Furnaces.
“Faced with the challenge of sustaining two festivals during such uncertain economic conditions, we had to make the hard choice to step back from Iron Hills in order to save and strengthen Furnace Fest.
This ensures that Furnace Fest can come back for years to come, continuing the legacy and community it has fostered in Birmingham.”
