For their third performance on America’s Got Talent (AGT), the Birmingham Youth & Young Adult Fellowship Choir delivered a lively performance of “No One” by Alicia Keys during the Tuesday, Sept. 16 semifinals episode.

The choir competed against 10 other acts that advanced to this stage of the tournament, and just six will make it to the finals next week.

The results will be announced on tomorrow’s episode of AGT, Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7 PM. Watch live on NBC or WVTM-TV (local channel 13).

Read on for the judges’ reactions and how to vote for the Birmingham Youth Fellowship Choir so they can perform one last time.

Honoring Birmingham and beyond

Just before their show, AGT showed a clip of the choir reacting to a video with friends, family and community leaders congratulating them on how far they’ve come, which brought many of the members to tears. The video included folks from the 16th Street Baptist Church, representatives of UAB and Mayor Randall Woodfin.

The 16th Street Baptist Church recently recognized the 62nd anniversary of the tragic bombing. One clip from the video let the choir know that they were honoring the legacy of those lost that day in 1963:

“I know that my sister and the other girls we lost that day are smiling down on you all.”

Here’s what the judges had to say

AGT’s judges were once again impressed by the youth choir following their performance — particularly Simon Cowell, who awarded them their Golden Buzzer after their first act.

Howie Mandel:

“I gotta tell you, personally I had a really rough week, and this was the medicine I needed. This was pure, audible joy. Just your faces, the sound, the harmony — it just made me feel good. That was amazing.”

Mel B:

“This is a real tough one for me, because that was the song that I walked down the aisle to when I just recently got married. And you made it just sound so happy and heartfelt, and I cried.”

Sofia Vergara:

“You guys just bring a smile to everyone. You’re all heart and soul. You keep getting better and better every time you come up here. It’s amazing, you’re amazing.”

Simon Cowell:

“I am really happy. I am happy for you. When you’re in a choir, you know when it’s working by even the way you perform, and you’ve got a real confidence, all of you. It was a brilliant, brilliant choice of song, I didn’t expect it. I think it looked amazing, you performed it amazing. You sounded great. I have a really good feeling what’s going to happen next. I do. You deserve to be here.”
