Birmingham Youth Fellowship Choir advances to America’s Got Talent semifinals

The Magic City’s most inspirational summer of 2025 story continued tonight when the nation voted to advance Golden Buzzer honoree Birmingham Youth & Young Adult Fellowship Choir into the America’s Got Talent (AGT) Semifinals.

After the choir was told they were moving forward to the America’s Got Talent Semis legendary judge Simon Crowell declared our hometown choir as — “America’s Golden Buzzer!”

This past July, the 60+ member choir stole the show on AGT by receiving the Golden Buzzer from Crowell.

Thanks to a nationwide vote after Tuesday night’s performance, the choir moves on to the AGT semifinals on September 16-17. The finals are on September 23-24.
