Anthropologie at The Summit moving to new location

If you’re like me and Anthropologie is one of your must-stop stores at The Summit, you won’t have to travel too far after they move.

The retail chain (they claim more than 200 stores across the U.S.) recently unveiled that their Birmingham storefront is getting a major upgrade, with a new spot opening “in time for Black Friday,” according to one associate.

Here’s what I learned during a quick expedition during my lunch break—in the name of research, of course!

Where is the new Anthropologie at The Summit located?

If you’re familiar with the space that Banana Republic once occupied, it’s roughly between Cheesecake Factory and Chuy’s, not far from where they currently reside.

Here’s what you can expect after a quick stroll across the parking lot:

• Potentially a smaller space, with exact square footage details to come
• A smarter, more efficient layout for an easier shopping experience
• New flooring + design opps for the talented artists that build out the store’s displays

What to know about Anthropologie

If you’re not familiar with this retailer, they mostly sell women’s clothing, accessories and home decor items. They’re known for quirky, unique designs that weave in nods to current trends and vintage style equally.
