1. Night of Arts—UAB Center for the Arts Gala


Experience a night like no other at the annual UAB Center for the Arts Gala. This immersive evening supports vital arts initiatives, including AEIVA, Alys Stephens Center, ArtPlay and Arts in Medicine.
Highlights include:
- AEIVA Gallery ballot voting for a new piece to join the museum’s permanent collection
- Performances by UAB’s Arts in Medicine program featuring medical personnel and students
- Youth performances by ArtPlay’s singers to kick off the evening
- A private concert by pop vocal group Wilson Phillips in Jemison Concert Hall
All proceeds directly support the arts community at UAB, and it’s a great way to sample all the different aspects of performing and visual arts.

2. Country music star—Drake White

Country-soul artist Drake White brings his energetic performance and soulful lyrics to Birmingham. Known for uplifting storytelling and rich vocals, White promises an unforgettable night filled with heartfelt melodies and raw talent.

3. Art Play Fall Classes


Registration is now open for fall classes at ArtPlay, UAB’s community arts education program. From visual arts, dance to music and theater, these hands-on classes are perfect for students of all ages and skill levels. Learn, create and grow in a supportive and inspiring environment.

5. An Evening with Sutton Foster

6. Arrival From Sweden: The Music of ABBA

Experience the ultimate ABBA tribute show with ARRIVAL From Sweden, the world’s most authentic ABBA production. Founded in 1995 with support from ABBA’s original musicians, this show delivers timeless hits (and some of my favorite songs) like:

Performed with stunning vocals, costumes and full symphonic collaborations, this concert is as close to the real ABBA as it gets.
