Birmingham’s largest indoor pickleball facility is holding its grand opening Friday, Aug. 22, 5 PM to 9 PM.

Armory Square Pickleball, the new 24/7 pickleball destination, is located within the Crestwood Festival Center at 7100 Crestwood Blvd., next door to its sister company Armory Gym.

The new space offers pickleball and much more.

Here are the Armory Square Pickleball’s amenities:

  • Seven professional pickleball courts
  • Table tennis tables
  • Pool table
  • Club lounge for parties and events
  • Four 80-inch televisions

In addition to the courts, tables and lounge, the Armory provides coaching, open play, leagues and special events for members

For all the night owls out there, it is always open — 24 hours, seven days a week.

In celebration of the opening, the Armory is offering a special grand opening rate of $40 a month for open play. For details, call 205-913-4804.

Crestwood Festival Center is on a roll

The Crestwood Festival Center continues to add businesses. Last month, Fun City Adventure Park opened in the former Edge Theater spot. Earlier in 2025, the nonprofit Bib & Tucker relocated within Festival Center to a larger space.
