New Tex-Mex restaurant El Patron opens in Irondale

Irondale is bursting with new businesses, including a brand-new Tex-Mex restaurant in the Cahaba Crossing Center, El Patron. The Alabama chain has several restaurants throughout the state such as its locations on Highway 280 in Birmingham, Trussville and Gadsden.
El Patron serves everything you crave from American Mexican food, like nachos, burritos, enchiladas, tacos and more, but they have some specialties that sound delicious. Check out the menu below to see for yourself.
The restaurant has a large lunch menu, which is served between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday, offering discounted options.
Its menu also boasts four entire pages with its bar selection, including but not limited to margaritas, whisky, brandy, vodka, rum, scotch, cognac, wine, and of course, tequila. Domestic beers at just $4.50, and imported beers are $4.99.
Children’s plates are served to kids under 12 and include a drink at a price point of $7.75.
