Birmingham-based boxing gym coming soon to Hoover

Battle Republic at The Summit is relocating to Stadium Trace Village this year. It will be located next to a new Urban Cookhouse—also coming soon to Stadium Trace this year—next to Hero Doughnuts and The Pants Store.
Founded in The Magic City
The Birmingham-based gym Battle Republic, founded in Homewood in 2019, is known for its unique boxing concept that combines the low-impact cardio burn of boxing with strength training.
It currently has three locations: Homewood, Tuscaloosa and the former Summit location which will relocate to Stadium Trace.

Hoover residents can expect more new developments and restaurants coming to Stadium Trace Village in the coming year.
In January 2025, developer Broad Metro purchased 121+ acres to create Stadium Trace Village Phase II.
