Earlier this week, the Alabaster City Council approved agreements for a new Hampton Inn and Suites/Home2 Suites and a new QuikTrip to be constructed in the Colonial Promenade shopping center.

Alabaster gets a new hotel + gas station

According to an announcement by the City of Alabaster, the City Council has approved two new projects near the Colonial Promenade shopping center off the Highway 31/I-65 interchange.

A new Hampton Inn and Suites/Home2 Suites will be constructed off Balmorial Drive in the Promenade shopping center. The dual-branded hotel will offer rooms geared towards shorter stays (Hampton Inn and Suites) as well as larger rooms equipped with kitchens for longer-term stays (Home2 Suites).

The new Hampton Inn and Suites/Home2 Suites will be the fourth hotel in the City of Alabaster.

In addition to the new Hampton Inn and Suites/Home2 Suites, the Alabaster City Council approved a new QuikTrip on the southeast corner of the Highway 31/Simmsville Road intersection.
