There’s a new animal rescue in town, and it’s riding in with big hearts and even bigger goals. Meet Cowboy Animal Rescue, a nonprofit serving the Greater Birmingham Area, that helps find homes for at-risk dogs through foster homes or adoption.

Read on to learn about their mission and how you can support them.

About Cowboy Animal Rescue

Cowboy Up may be the new rescue on the block, but the team behind it includes seasoned rescuers, fosters, and advocates for animals in need.
The organization’s name says it all—“to cowboy up” means to show up with heart, even when the road is tough—and that’s exactly what they’re doing for animals in need of care, love and furever homes.

“Through community support, education and a whole lot of love, we give every animal the chance to rise, thrive and find their forever home.”

Officially opening on August 1, the rescue held a soft launch on August 9 in Homewood where they connected with the community, shared their mission and provided information on how to get involved.
