NEW: Urban Cookhouse to open 5th Birmingham-area location

Urban Cookhouse is coming to Stadium Trace Village in Hoover.

The local restaurant chain plans to open its fifth Birmingham-area eatery next to Hero Doughnuts, according to the Hoover Sun.

Andrea Snyder—founder of Urban Cookhouse—told the Sun that the new spot was originally slated to be a Rodney Scott’s BBQ restaurant. The restaurant will now share an outdoor patio with Hero.

Hoover residents can expect more new developments and restaurants coming to Stadium Trace Village in the coming year. In January 2025, developer Broad Metro purchased 121+ acres to build Stadium Trace Village Phase II.
