Iron City Pizza Company is closing its doors after six years in operation.

Located at 2005 11th Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35205, across from the Storyteller Fountain, the popular pizza joint announced in a Facebook post that it is closing on August 24.

Below is an excerpt from their letter to customers.

“…We are so proud of what we built and so grateful we got the opportunity to share it with all of you! Thank you for making our little pizza place a part of your weekly dinner rotations and milestone events! getting to know all of you in the relationships we built is our biggest success!

“This is an end of a chapter, not the story! We would love for you to come help us celebrate the end of this truly wonderful experience and let us have the opportunity to serve you, thank you and say goodbye for now.”
