Two of the largest veterinary networks in the country, including one based in the Magic City, have joined together to create Mission Pet Health.Β

Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) and Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP) entered into a merger late last year, and the organization has unveiled its new, combined brand today, Aug. 4.

The new company represents one of the largest veterinary consolidators in the U.S.

Mission Pet Health’s network now spans across:

  • 840+ locations
  • 41 states
  • 20,000+ employees

Dr. Jay Price has been CEO of SVP since he founded the company in 2014. Price remains the CEO of Mission Pet Health.

β€œSVP and MVP each built incredible reputations over the last decade. We wanted to honor that history while demonstrating our clear mission now as a united entity: to become the best veterinary care company in the world, grounded in care and driven by passion.”

Dr. Jay Price

Last year, Newsweek declared SVP one of the β€œmost loved workplaces in America,” which is measured after collecting surveys from employees about collaboration, innovation, leadership trust and workplace belonging.
