West Homewood Farmers’ Market is saying goodbye—here’s what to know about the final market
Reading time: 2 minutes

Get ready to show up and show out, Homewood.
After 15 years, the West Homewood Farmers’ Market is shutting down its stalls and saying goodbye to the community.
“After a lot of thought, we’ve decided this will be the final season for the market in its current form. This decision wasn’t easy, but it feels like the right time to close this chapter well.”
Kenyon Ross, West Homewood Farmers’ Market
Despite the sad news, the market wants their last celebration to be one that “truly honors” the Homewood community.
Here’s everything you need to know to get ready for the final farmers’ market:
📅 Tuesday, Aug. 5
⏰ 5 to 8 p.m.
📍160 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL 35209
There will be plenty of food trucks, so come hungry with friends and family and enjoy dinner under the summer sky.
Live music will also be performed by acoustic and indie-pop duo “The Gore Brothers.”
Kids will have their fair share of fun at the ready, too—crafts, balloon animals, sprinklers and more will be at the market, so the entire family has something to look forward to.
Let’s thank the West Homewood Farmers’ Market for all the great memories by helping them have one more amazing evening. Will we see you there?
