Good news for fast food fans! Foosackly’s—the popular chicken restaurant headquartered in Mobile—recently closed on a new site in Hoover, marking the restaurant chain’s first foray into the Birmingham metro.

New Foosackly’s coming to Hoover

In mid-July, the Birmingham Business Journal reported that a company associated with Foosackly’s purchased a lot at 5552 Grove Boulevard in The Grove, the popular shopping center along I-459 and John Hawkins Parkway in Hoover. According to Mobile-based Vallas Realty, Inc., Foosackly’s recently closed on its first site in Hoover and is looking for other locations throughout the southeast, including:

  • Birmingham
  • Auburn
  • Montgomery
  • South Mississippi
  • The Florida Panhandle

Founded in 2000 by LSU alums Will Fusaiotti and Eric Bechtel, Foosackly’s has become known for its high-quality, fresh-never-frozen chicken and tasty crinkle-cut fries.

The brand currently operates 16 locations in Alabama and Florida:
