The buzz follows an article by the Wall Street Journal that ranked Birmingham in the top five metro areas for young professionals, based on a new study from payroll-services provider ADP. 

Out of 55 cities, Birmingham stood out for its decent wages, hiring opportunities and cost of living that gives young professionals more opportunities for success.
