The Ross Bridge 8K is more than a race

The Ross Bridge 8K is more than a fitness challenge—it’s a step toward healing for women across Alabama. Proceeds from the event go directly to the ALATC Women’s Training Center, which provides low-cost, faith-based residential recovery programs for women struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
For Kali Rogers, Fundraising Coordinator and Race Director, this cause is deeply personal.
“This event helps support the Alabama Adult and Teen Challenge, and in turn, helps women come to know Jesus. This program isn’t just another program—it is set apart by the love of God that is in this place.
I couldn’t be prouder of my place of employment. I also wouldn’t change my job for the world as I get to see miracles happen every day.”
Kali Rogers, Fundraising Coordinator, ALATC
ALATC Director Ashley Bates knows firsthand the power of this program.
“I came to Teen Challenge in March of 2020 completely broken from my addiction. Since then, I have had restoration with God and my family and am now the director of the program that saved my life.
I love my life today, and being the hands and feet of Jesus is the most rewarding thing in the world.”
Ashley Bates, Director, ALATC
