There’s a new flavor coming to Alabaster, and it’s bringing some serious Louisiana vibes. “Hey Bebe Where Yat?,” a casual Cajun restaurant, is opening its doors on Monday, July 28 from 4PM–8PM, and you’re invited to stop by for the grand opening.
Read on for more details about this new spot.
From food truck to full kitchen

The brains (and taste buds) behind the operation is Chef Joe Sciarrotta, who you might already know from his food truck “Hey Bebe Get Stuffed.”
The new brick-and-mortar spot promises a laid-back, family-friendly vibe, complete with a full ice cream bar for dessert lovers and a salad bar for anyone craving something on the lighter side.
- Location: 6753 Hwy 17, Maylene, AL 35114
- Hours: Closed Monday | Tuesday-Thursday 10:30AM-8PM | Friday-Saturday 10:30AM-9PM | Sometimes open on Sunday (check social media for updates)

You can also keep up with the truck’s schedule on Facebook—or, if you’re planning a party, they also offer catering with or without the wheels.
Meet the chef behind the flavor
Chef Joe, a New Orleans native with three decades of culinary experience, brings his roots into every dish. In fact, his mom’s homemade Italian bread recipe is still a staple on the truck—and you’ll likely see it on the restaurant menu too.
And here’s a little local tip: “Hey Bebe Where Yat?” plans to stay open late on Friday nights during high school football season. So after the game, swing by for a bite!
