Birmingham foodies: Your favorite part of the year is upon us! Time to do your stretches, properly hydrate and make a plan for enjoying the top eats, drinks and mingles in the Magic City at Birmingham Restaurant Week presented by Spire.
It’s Thursday, July 17 through Saturday, July 26—with fun events bookending either side to extend the celebration.
Here’s what to know and where to go for all things BRW ’25.
Hungry for details? What to know about this year’s Birmingham Restaurant Week

We gave you a little sneak peek at the upcoming 15th annual Birmingham Restaurant Week back in May, but they’ve since added more fun events and more participating restaurants.
Before we get to that, here’s the 101:
- When: Thursday, July 17—Saturday, July 26
- Where: All around the city! Keep scrolling below for participants + event schedules and location.
- Cost: Each restaurant sets its prix fixe menu prices, but prices typically range from $5 to $60 per meal. It’s a great, wallet-friendly way to try out a new-to-you restaurant or food truck.
- Why it’s important: Beyond just getting to sample all things delicious about Birmingham, BRW has donated more than $100,000 to a variety of local food-centered charities during its 14-year history—with Magic City Harvest as its designated regular beneficiary beginning last year.
This 10-day celebration also lifts Birmingham restaurants during what can typically be slower summer months.
“I love participating with BRW because they bring the community and businesses together. For 10 glorious days, we get to share our table for new diners and our favorite ones.
It is a chance to try something new and save money while stimulating the generally slow summer vacation days. It has increased our revenue by up to 20% and helps us to remain active and relevant within our community. “
Bernadine Birdsong, PhD, Owner of Michael’s Restaurant in Parkside
Each restaurant can set its own menu to highlight new specialties with either three items or three courses. And it’s not just brick and mortar spots: There are several participating food trucks, which you can sample at a special pop-up event to close out this year’s celebration.
