1. World Police & Fire Games @ Participating locations

- What: More than 8,500 athletes are expected to attend, competing in over 60 sports! Events include both traditional sports such as soccer, baseball or basketball, but also WPFG-specific sports. This year will see participants compete in the Firefighter Challenge, K-9 Biathlon and Police Pistol Combat. Watch as police and fire battle it out for a winner!

- What: Thunder on the Mountain returns this year for its annual July 4 celebration. This must-see spectacular features more than 2500 fireworks + effects in a 20-minute show synchronized to a patriotic soundtrack. Music is broadcast on iHeartMedia Birmingham radio stations, including 102.5 The Bull, 103.1 The Vulcan, 103.7 The Q and more. Find a spot near Vulcan, look up at the sky and enjoy the show.
