A new Italian dining spot cooked up by the team behind Birmingham’s Lé Fresca is on its way to Lane Parke.

The restaurant, Locanda Brasato, will open in the fall in the former Post Office Pies space, located at 270 Rele Street. Post Office Pies announced its closure in early June. Its last day open was Sunday, June 29.

Lé Fresca founders seek to make memorable food

Chef Duaine Clements and Marco Butturini, the duo behind Lé Fresca, have made it their goal to craft a new eatery that serves thoughtful, handcrafted cuisine with deeply personal hospitality.

“Locanda Brasato is about the kind of Italian food that takes time to make and is worth the wait — food that feels personal and unexpected. It’s a place where Marco and I can bring all the things we love about Italian cooking and hospitality to the table in a new way.”

Construction has already begun in the mixed-use redevelopment project located in Mountain Brook. Lane Parke is continuing to welcome new businesses, such as Johnnie-O, a clothing retailer that opened earlier this summer.
