Read on for details.
Closing after two decades
Owned by Robert Loboda, Starz has been operating for nearly 20 years, originating on Green Springs Highway before moving to 5479 Highway 280, Suite 118.
In the note posted by Starz Karaoke Lounge, there was no explicit reason for closure cited by the business:
“After more than two unforgettable decades of music, laughter, and late-night memories, Starz Karaoke Lounge has made the bittersweet decision to officially close its doors. To every person who ever grabbed a mic, sang their heart out, celebrated a birthday, danced like no one was watching, or simply made Starz part of their weekend routine—thank you.
You didn’t just fill the room with sound—you filled it with life. This place was never just about karaoke. It was about community, joy, and a little bit of magic on stage. Though the lights have dimmed, the memories will echo for years to come. From all of us at Starz.
Thank you for the years. Thank you for the nights. Thank you for the love.”
