Don’t let the name JAWS scare you—this restaurant is making waves across the Southeast with locations in Louisiana, Florida and right here in Alabama in Montgomery.
While Midfield won’t be the first Alabama location (that happened in Montgomery), it will be the second, which means we can still be the spot that makes this new spot the best to visit in the state.
The JAWS Chicken & Seafood menu
If you love your chicken and seafood battered and fried with sides like fries, coleslaw or hushpuppies, you’ll devour JAWS’ menu.
The casual eatery specializes in a variety of hot chicken dishes with a selection of heat levels.
You can choose from a variety of items, from chicken fingers and sandwiches to wings and catfish nuggets. You can even get liver or gizzards if you’re feeling adventurous.
The beverages are worth a second glance, with more options available than the usual fountain drinks. You can try fun picks like Pink Lemonade and slushies in several flavors.
My pick: The blueberry raspberry slushy—a flavor that pleases my tastebuds every single time.
