Pride Month is here, Birmingham—and we’ve rounded up 17 exciting events happening across The Magic City to help you celebrate. From parades to parties and everything in between, this guide has all the details you need to show your pride this June.

1. Youth Pride Prom | Friday, June 6

  • What: Enjoy all the fun and excitement of prom in a safe, accepting environment at the annual Youth Pride Prom hosted by Magic City Acceptance Center (MCAC).

2. Send Dudes: Drag King Night at The Nick | Friday, June 6

  • What: Let’s hear it for the drag kings! Catch a stellar showcase of drag excellence at this 21+ show at The Nick.

3. Rocky Horror Hot Dogs Present: The Rocky Horror Picture Show | Friday, June 6

  • What: Spend your Friday night doing the time warp at Sidewalk with an interactive screening of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, and don’t forget to dress accordingly.

4. Alabama Pride Hike | Saturday, June 7

  • What: Lace up your boots for a scenic 3-mile trek through Oak Mountain State Park. Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community, an ally, a family looking for a fun outing or someone with disabilities seeking an ADA-accessible adventure, this event is for you. Registration costs include a special edition pride hike t-shirt and custom medal.

5. Pride Community Picnic | Saturday, June 7

  • What: What better way to connect with your community than a picnic? Join for food, fun and friendship with an accepting faith family.

6. Mayawell Pride Night | Saturday, June 7

  • What: Enjoy tasty craft cocktails and live DJs at Mayawell in Lakeview on June 7, with 15% of sales benefitting Central Alabama Pride.

7. Somos Un Pride | Saturday, June 7

  • What: Get ready for a vibrant night of music, dance and celebration at Somos Un Pride. This high-energy fundraiser is all about pride, unity and supporting the LGBTQ+ Latin community of Alabama.

8. Queer Wedding Blitz | Sunday, June 8

  • What: At this daylong celebration, queer couples get to say “I do” surrounded by friends, chosen family and community. From sunrise to sunset, LGBTQ+ couples have the chance to get married, giving them the joy of a beautiful ceremony and reception—without the price tag.

9. Garden Party | Sunday, June 8

  • What: Located at Golden Age Wine Garden, this all-day event is celebrating its 4th year. All LGBTQIA+ and the entire community are welcome to party with DJs, food, drink and live performances.

10. Pride Idol | Wednesday, June 11

  • What: Don’t miss this annual pride singing competition at Saturn this June, where the winner will take home a $300 cash prize. Admission is free, with donations toward Central Alabama Pride accepted at the door.

  • What: Milk & Honey returns for another pride extravaganza like no other on Friday, June 13. Featuring special guest headliner, Washington D.C.-based DJ Baby Weight, this will be a party you won’t want to miss.

13. Pride Drag Brunch | Saturday, June 14

  • What: Ready for Birmingham’s most popular drag brunch of the year? This extra-special show features “RuPaul’s Drag Race” stars Widow Von’Du and Miz Cracker. Ticket options vary from show only to VIP with food, meet and greet and preferred seating.

14. Annual Pride in The Magic City Parade | Saturday, June 14

  • What: It’s everyone’s favorite pride event: the 2025 Pride in The Magic City Parade! Starting at sunset at 30th St S + 7th Ave S, march with pride through the Lakeview District as the celebration takes you to 22nd St S.

15. Loud & Proud Parade Afterparty | Saturday, June 14

  • What: Keep the party going at Loud & Proud, the official pride afterparty at Saturn. This epic show will feature performances from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” all-stars Aja and India Ferrah.

16. 47th Annual PrideFest | Sunday, June 15

  • What: This free, family-friendly event kicks off at noon and welcomes everyone to join in the festivities. The day features dazzling performances from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” stars Sapphira Cristal, Darienne Lake, India Ferrah, DeJa Skye and Widow Von’Du, along with live music from Ahli and Dutch singer Jules Lies. Hosted by Obsinity and Dominique Divine, the celebration also includes food trucks, artisan vendors, a kid zone, a health fair and a variety of local entertainment.

17. Official Pridefest Afterparty & Karaoke | Sunday, June 15

Whether you’re belting out your favorite hits or soaking up the vibrant atmosphere, this afterparty promises unforgettable memories and nonstop vibes.
