A leading voice in the local music scene

In 2013, Hamric and his wife launched Substrate Radio, an internet radio station that helps to promote local music and involves other local musicians as DJs and on air personalities. However, he was a respected member of the Birmingham music community long before that, performing with the band “Ferocious Bubbles” throughout the late 90s and early 2000s.
“Jason was a champion for the Birmingham music scene, promoting not just his own band but also other local musicians.”
