New ‘chill’ ice cream shop to open in Bessemer

Having a rough day? Unbothered Scoops invites you to meet them at the corner of stress-free and carefree.
This peaceful haven filled with sweet treats was built on the promise of providing customers with a relaxing environment while they sit back and order their favorite scoops. Unbothered Scoops’ menu is jamp-packed with all the goodies— from ice cream nachos to chicken and waffles to homemade pound cake.
The best part? You can dig into some great ice cream and enjoy the fun amenities this shop will offer.

Local pastor and entrepreneur Lawrence Jackson is the mastermind behind his new “chill” ice cream parlor (see what I did there). He wanted to create a space where families could come together to enjoy each other and let go of the weight of the world.
“I want to bring to this area what they would drive miles to get. I want to prove that folks here in Bessemer can have nice things too. We deserve that.”
