Fairfield is getting a new Milo’s Hamburgers.

On May 14th, the City of Fairfield held a groundbreaking to celebrate the construction of a new Milo’s Hamburgers across the street from the present location.

According to Fairfield Mayor Eddie Penny, the new restaurant is located at the intersection of Aronov Drive and EJ Oliver Blvd.

“Milo’s has been in the city for almost 40 years. It is a great option for our residents to have another place to go and eat.”

One of Mayor Penny’s priorities is tackling the food desert issue in his community. Last year, the Carver Jones Market opened in downtown Fairfield.

The mayor is hoping to open additional restaurants near the new Milos on Aronov, including Southern Flames, which is in the process of getting its licenses to open.
